NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Proposed 2013-2014 Budget for the Town of Stokesdale has been presented to the Town Council and is available for public inspection at Town Hall during office hours or by following the links below. Town Council will hold a public hearing on June 18, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall, 8325 Angel Pardue Road for the purpose of receiving comments on the proposed budget. Citizens wishing to be heard are invited to make written or oral comments.

PUBLIC WORKSHOP NOTICE

Two Greensboro MPO plans have been updated and drafts are now available for public review: The Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan and the Public Participation Plan. The comment period for the Coordinated Plan Update runs until June 7, and the comment period for the Public Participation Plan Update runs until June 21.

The documents are available for review at the above websites and at various locations around the City and Guilford County, along with the Town Halls of Oak Ridge, Pleasant Garden, Sedalia, Stokesdale, and Summerfield.

All comments are welcome. They may be made via email, postal mail, fax, or at the public workshop. Instructions for commenting are also included at the beginning of the Coordinated Plan draft and at the end of the Public Participation Plan draft.

The Town Council voted to purchase 15 IPADS for the school. The School's goal is to collect funds to purchase 15 additional IPADS so they will have one for each student a class to use. One IPAD cost $399 (Any amount will be accepted)
