I am pleased to announce that the Town of 
Stokesdale has received notice that the Parks and Recreation Authority has 
approved a grant in the amount of $500,000 from the Parks and Recreation Trust 
Fund for the Stokesdale Town Park project.  



 



I am extremely pleased that we were able to 
receive this amount in grant funds in light of competition from other 
municipalities for these funds.  It truly demonstrates the need perceived in our 
Town for a park and recreational opportunities.
