Walking Tracks Two paved walking tracks are now available for citizens. One track is located on the grounds of Stokesdale Elementary School.
The other track is located at Vulcan Materials
Company at 6826 US Highway 158.
Dawn Acres Golf Course, an 18 hole course, is located at 7712 NC Highway 68 in Stokesdale. The Annual Greater Stokesdale Open Golf Tournament is held at the course each year in September or October. The Tournament is organized by the Stokesdale Community Park, Inc. to raise funds for the Park.

Youth Basketball
Youth Baseball The Stokesdale Parks & Recreation organizes and manages the baseball and
Stokesdale Community. They are a part of the Northwest League of Guilford County. About 310 children from the community participated in the program in 2003. Home games are played at the Stokesdale Park.

Stokesdale Youth Football Association Stokesdale Youth FootbalAssociation (SYFA) is working to build football teams for local youth, ages 5 to 12 as well as additional activities for Cheerleading teams and other tackle and flag football ages and teams. Belews Lake Belews Lake, a Duke Power facility, is located mostly in Stokes County but does extend into Forsyth, Rockingham, and a small portion of Stokesdale (Guilford County.) The lake was completed in 1973 and has a surface area of 3,863 acres and approximately 88 miles of shoreline. There are two public boat landings that provide access to the lake. Click here to view a map of Belews Lake. The Piney Bluff access area is located on Highway 65 just outside of the Stokesdale Town Limits. The Pine Hall boat landing is in Stokes County off of Pine Hall Road. Carolina Marina and Humphries Ridge Campground are two privately operated businesses located on Belews Lake that provide boating access for the lake. Carolina Marina is located off of Ellisboro Road and Humphries Ridge is located off of Oak Level Church Road.
