The photographs above are of Stokesdale's Veterans Memorial -- Located at Vulcan Materials - 6826 US-158, Stokesdale, North Carolina. Four ladies from Stokesdale United Methodist Church worked to raise money to build a memorial for all veterans. The community raised $45,000, and the monument was erected in 2005. Chairwoman of the Veterans Momument Committee is B. Marshall.
